The Ivy House, Chalfont St Giles Bed and Breakfast

The Ivy House is a beautiful brick and flint 250 year-old coaching inn, set in the heart of the Chiltern Vale with gorgeous views and close to the old town of Amersham. When you enter the inn you can experience its history which creates a warm atmosphere with open fires, old beams, armchairs and even a ghost!

The Ivy House is haunted by the shadowy figure of a stable lad. A recent sighting has confirmed the apparition to be of a young lad dressed in 17th century costume and over the years there have been numerous sightings. This may well have a connection with the fact that as an old coaching inn, the convicted stopped here on their way to London to be hung!

You will be sure of a restful night's sleep in this peaceful location. The bedrooms are equipped with television, WI-FI Internet access and hairdryers.
