Lower Claverham is a 16th Century farmhouse on a working dairy farm. We have two rooms, a double and a twin room.
Both rooms have radios, televisions, tea/coffee making facilities. The rooms are centrally heated and both have a no smoking policy.
The garden has a picnic table which guests are welcome to use.
We are close to Glyndebourne, Charleston, Firle Place, the South Downs and the Sussex Coast. Guests visiting Glyndebourne can prepare their picnics in the farmhouse and are welcome to keep items overnight in the fridge and freezer. We can provide a taxi service to Glyndebourne.
There is ample off road parking.

Glyndebourne and Charleston are a 15 minute drive and Bede's Senior School is a 5 minute drive (taxi service available) Places of historical interest in the area include the County Town of Lewes and the Village of Alfriston (with "The Clergy House" NT property), Michelham Priory and Pevensey Castle. The property is ideal for walkers and cyclists
