Allanfauld is a family farm run by Archie and Libby MacGregor, situated close to the town of Kilsyth, deep in the heart of the Scottish countryside.
The MacGregors have been farming the land on and around the Kilsyth Hills since 1926, and now also offer accommodation.
The guest bedrooms are comfortably furnished. There are twin/triple/family rooms and a single room. Each has a television and tea/coffee making facilities. Visitors also have access to a TV and lounge room and also a payphone.
There is also the Lodge which is a little piece of luxury situated in the garden at Allanfauld, looking out to the hills beyond Kilsyth. It can comfortably sleep two, either a twin or a double, and has a double sofa bed for a further two people if required.
It is comfortable and cosy and includes a shower room, kitchen facilities and a lounge room. The Lodge is available as a self catering unit, or alternatively, breakfast can be provided in the farm house.
Unlike most Bed and Breakfast establishments, Allanfauld Farm which is a working farm is open all year round and sits at the foot of the Kilsyth Hills, a great base to explore central Scotland.
