Conquerors is a unique single-storey house set in the heart of 1066 country. Built early last century, Conquerors has been carefully furnished and decorated to reflect its unusual Arts & Crafts style. In its secluded parkland setting, Conquerors offers you all the peace and tranquility of the countryside.
With comfort in mind there are three en-suite spacious bedrooms. All rooms are south-facing and include central heating, en-suite bath or shower-rooms (two with Grade 2 Access) and tea/coffee making facilities. From your window you’ll have a spectacular view over the terrace and landscaped gardens, across the South Downs towards the English Channel.
There is Grade 2 Access throughout, including the terrace and an electric bath seat and monkey bar for those visitors that require.
Fresh local produce is used whenever possible – including eggs from the resident free-roaming chickens! There is always a good choice of food and we are happy to cater for vegetarians and guests with special dietary requirements.
There are many fine pubs, restaurants and eating places nearby. However for those that do not wish to eat out, there is a fridge and microwave-oven for light lunches or suppers. A small charge is required, this includes crockery glasses etc.

Closer still are numerous picturesque villages with the surrounding country being a walker’s paradise. For the energetic, there are sporting facilities of every kind from golf to gliding and from bowls to bicycling. Close to hand is the rural Cuckoo Trail, an eleven mile walk, with partial access for the disabled along the route of a disused railway track. Those who like their sport at second hand can find horse racing, county cricket, greyhound racing and basketball in the neighbouring towns.
