Glendon Bed and Breakfast offer luxury accommodation in Matlock, Derbyshire, next to Hall Leys park, beneath Saint Giles Church and a short walk to restaurants, bars and shops.

The house forms part of a picturesque Victorian terrace and looks onto Knowleston Gardens, close to the River Derwent. It’s an ideal base to explore the Peak District National Park.

All the bedrooms are en-suite and there is also a four poster room. Each room has been individually designed offering a range of facilities including comfortable beds dressed with Egyptian cotton bed linen, high quality cotton towels, flat screen TVs with Freeview channels, radio/alarm clocks, complimentary toiletries, silent mini fridge, tea/coffee making facilities with fresh milk, hairdryer, shaving points, controllable central heating and a welcome pack of local information.

In addition to the beautiful bedrooms there is a large guest lounge, with views over Knowleston Gardens. This is an ideal place to unwind after a day in the Peak District or to take some time in the day to read and relax.

In the morning enjoy a range of breakfast options which are served in the dining room using locally sourced produce.

An Electric Vehicle Charge station is available. Electricity is supplied from 100% green sources, reducing the environmental impact further. So, while you are recharging during your stay you can recharge your transport.

Glendon Bed and Breakfast is 500 yards from Matlock train station. Cyclists can carry bikes free of charge on East Midlands Trains, which connects into to the wider rail network, so great for a few days away visiting the Peak District. There is a secure storage garage on site with room for at least 12 cycles. There are 9 dedicated cycle racks to enable you to store your bike and equipment safely. Giving you peace-of-mind when not in the saddle that your bike and equipment is safe and secure should you wish to walk into town to enjoy our pubs, restaurants and shops in Matlock.
