LOCAL INFORMATION
Seaford is on the mainline railway to London, changing at Lewes. The county town of Lewes is 10 miles away with its farmers market and very individual shops.

Places to visit include Newhaven Fort, Drusilla’s Zoo, Long Man of Wilmington, Alfriston, Glyndebourne and many interesting stately homes, gardens and castles to name but a few.

The main attraction of staying at Polruan is that we’re right on Seaford Head, so ideally placed for walking up on the cliff tops over towards the Seven Sisters. We are a short stroll from the seafront so there’s always a refreshing sea breeze and seagulls wheeling overhead.
