Alvin, Sally and Adam Michaels are proud to welcome you to The Nags Head Inn at Great Missenden.
There are four doubles and one twin bedroom, all newly refurbished with beautifully finished bathrooms or shower en-suites. Each room includes Digital flat screen TV's, Tea/coffee making facilities, Irons & Ironing boards, Hairdryers, WiFi in public areas and DAB radio alarm clocks.
After a rested night’s sleep, you’ll find a hearty breakfast waiting for you in the morning.
The food at The Nags Head is popular with locals and visitors to the area. Following three months of careful renovation in 2008, the Michaels family, owners of the award-winning Bricklayers Arms in Flaunden, Hertfordshire, invite you to experience their new English and French fusion style of menu which has won them so much recognition to date, freshly prepared by award winning chefs.
They are pleased to have been awarded their first AA Rosette in recognition of their “Excellent restaurant that stands out in the local area; food prepared with care, understanding and skill, using good-quality ingredients” and chosen as “The AA Pick of the Pubs” for Buckinghamshire in the recently published AA Pub Guide Sawdays, Pubs & Inns and the much coveted Michelin Guide and Michelins’ “Eating out in Pubs 2009”.
So sample some of the organic produce or snuggle up in front of the large inglenook fireplace with your favourite tipple, in traditional 15th century surrounds, or dine 'al fresco' in the summer months in our garden. Heavenly!
The Nags Head is ideal for both business or pleasure and can cater for a small intimate party of 8 or a corporate dining event of up to 80. You can be assured unfaltering quality of food and service and the friendly and professional staff will ensure your special occasion will be a memorable one. There are also secluded areas at the The Nags Head where you can enjoy your dining experience in the privacy of just your own company.
