The Staghunters Hotel/Inn is now under the enthusiastic management of the Wyburn family who are intent on returning the Staghunters to its former glory.
The Staghunters Hotel is located within the Exmoor National Park and close to the Doone Valley, where there are beautiful walks on the moors and valleys of Exmoor and the North Devon Coast close by.
This 16th Century former Chapel is available for civil weddings and receptions.
There are 12 well-appointed bedrooms, each having en-suite facilities (two with 4 poster bed) and featuring a television and tea/coffee making facilities.
The spacious south facing restaurant with Food Standards Agency Rating – 5 Stars offers traditional home-made, locally sourced food. You can choose from a tempting selection of local dishes from the Bar Menu or opt for the full Restaurant Menu offering seasonal Devon fare with all the trimmings.
With most of North Devon's attractions within easy reach, there's plenty of scope for adventure. Our paddock and beer garden provide the perfect place to relax during the summer months.

Children 2 years and under free of charge – if you require a cot there will be a nominal charge of £10.00 to cover laundry cost.

A £50 non-returnable deposit (per room) is required when booking.

During busy periods we reserve the right to take a minimum of two night bookings, especially at weekends.
Exmoor offers an abundance of outdoor activities, from golf, riding and clay pigeon shooting which can be arranged given advance notice.
For the ultimate cycling experience for all ages and abilities, cycle on the famous Tarka Trail where there are safe circular tours for the family, taking in the Exmoor scenery.
Places to visit include Lynton Railway, Exmoor Zoo, Lundy Island and Lynmouth harbour which is perfect for boat trips and exploring the Heritage Coast.
