Margie and Julian Croysdill offer a warm welcome to Lamberden House. Their accommodation is luxurious and has a peaceful atmosphere and is ideally based to explore the many historic and beautiful gardens and other attractions of Kent and Sussex.
This Kentish Oast Barn is spacious and beautifully furnished and being on the highest point in the Weald, has outstanding views over the surrounding countryside including a restored Windmill.
The accommodation comprises of two large double bedrooms and a single. The first en-suite double has a super-king sized bed (which can also be made into a twin) and there is a sofa bed ideal for children.
The Double room and Single room have full use of a separate bathroom. All rooms feature a Flat Screen Television, Wi-Fi, DVD Player and Tea/Coffee making tray.
A delicious breakfast is included in the price using fresh produce. Evening meals are by prior arrangement where home-grown vegetables and herbs are used from the garden.
Margie and Julian both have a lifelong local knowledge of the area and are willing to advise on the best places to visit.
There is also a newly refurbished self contained cottage in the garden for self catering, comprising, large beautifully furnished bed sitting room, well equipped kitchen and shower room.
Children over 12 years are welcome.
Places to visit include Sissinghurst Castle Garden, Great Dixter, Pashley Manor, Hever, Leeds, Bodiam and Scotney Castles, Hever and Leeds Castles, Tenterden and Rye. Many good quality golf clubs, Kent and East Sussex Railway to name a few.
