Vine Cottage is ideally situated off the main road, only a 10 minute walk from the town centre and rail station, just opposite the 1066 footpath and the Dover-Hastings cycle path.
The accommodation is comfortably furnished featuring a twin/double room with private bathroom and a single room with en-suite shower (z bed if needed). Both rooms are centrally heated and include hospitality tray and TV.
A generous full English, Continental or Vegetarian breakfast is included in the price.
Guests are welcome to relax in the well stocked garden, which has a good selection of plants and shrubs. The garden attracts a wide variety of birds, including Finches, Robins and Blue Tits.

Climbing the tower of St. Marys Church, which dates back to the Norman period, is well worth the effort as you will be rewarded by a wonderful view over Romney Marshes, Camber Sands and Rye Harbour.
The Nature Reserve at Rye Harbour provides ideal viewing points for bird watching as well as guided tours. Within easy reach of Rye there are many lovely gardens, castles and houses open to the public, including Rye Castle Museum; Camber Castle; Rye Art Gallery; Battle Abbey; Pevensey Castle; Bodiam Castle; Bexhill-on-Sea; Hastings and the Kent and East Sussex Railway to name a few
