A warm friendly welcome awaits you at this elegant, comfortable accommodation at The Cottage. This 16th century family home overlooks the village green in Rushlake Green, a tiny picturesque village (still with a shop and pub) set in the beautiful countryside of East Sussex.
The guest accommodation features beautiful double rooms with full en-suite facilities. Both have pretty antique beds, one a four-poster. Every home comfort is provided; colour television, tea and coffee making facilities, sherry and biscuits, mineral water, hair dryer and robes.
Guests have the exclusive use of a pretty drawing room, with a cosy woodburning stove for those chillier evenings. This room has a colour television, books, magazines and games. You are also welcome to sit and relax in our large and tranquil garden.
A full English or Continental breakfast is provided, served in our dining room overlooking the village green. It is served at a mutually agreed time, usually between 8.00 am and 10.00 am. Breakfast is AGA-cooked and we use locally grown and organic produce wherever possible. Guests are welcome to bring home a takeaway in the evening and use the dining room - our local curry house, Mr India, is extremely good and will deliver (a rarity in these parts!) Please feel free to use the fridge in the dining room to store wine, water, picnics etc.
So whether you are coming for a short break, two week holiday or a family event, we pride ourselves that we will provide a relaxing and thoroughly enjoyable stay !
Ample parking and secure storage for bikes.
