Coachmans Cottage, a charming three-bedroom holiday home is situated in Sparkwell on the edge of Dartmoor just a short drive from the Devon coast.
The cottage can comfortably accommodate up to seven and is available for B&B or Self Catering.
The interior of the cottage has been tastefully decorated throughout, expertly incorporating modern appliances and furnishings with period character and charm.
On the ground floor of the cottage there is a warm and spacious sitting room complete with wood-burning stove, a well-equipped kitchen and a dining room. Also located downstairs is a large double bedroom with super-king bed, and a family shower room. Upstairs, there are two further bedrooms. A family bathroom is also situated on the first floor.
The south-facing garden has a large wood decked terrace where a hot tub is located. This is the perfect place to sit back and relax whilst watching the sunset or enjoying the magnificent views. Beyond the terrace is a level lawn, which is fully enclosed and ideal for guests staying with dogs or young children.
No children under 14 to use the hot tub.

The countryside village of Sparkwell has something for everyone. For a stunning meal, the Michelin-star Treby Arms is within easy walking distance of the cottage and is run by Masterchef winner Anton Piotrowski. During the day visit Dartmoor Zoo, which was the inspiration for the BBC’s Ben’s Zoo and Matt Damon’s film ‘We Bought a Zoo’. Alternatively, there are many footpaths to explore, local stables offering horse rides out over the moor, and several wonderful attractions, including National Trust managed properties such as Saltram, Buckland Abbey and Cotehele.
The South Devon coastline and golden beaches are only a short drive from Coachmans Cottage. Discover the wonders of Bantham, Wembury and Mothecombe, or explore the local cliff walks where the views are spectacular.
If you would prefer a spot of shopping the towns of Totnes and Tavistock are only a half-hour’s drive. Alternatively, there is Plymouth where you will find a range of high street shops and excellent restaurants. Whilst visiting Plymouth make sure you enjoy the Barbican, one of the few parts of the city that escaped the destruction of World War 2 and is now a great place to sit back and relax.
