Rutland Guest House is situated in the heart of 1066 country.
Built in the late Victorian times it still maintains many of its original features including the grand staircase. There are a variety of guest bedrooms all bright and spacious with a modern feel. Some rooms enjoy beautiful views overlooking Marina Gardens and the sea, whilst the back rooms are quieter and more relaxed looking out to the terraced garden.

Rutland enjoys a prime position on the seafront at St. Leonards on Sea opposite Marina Gardens on the A259 coastal road. This is an ideal location for the Hastings Half Marathon in March.
Places to visit include Fishermen’s Museum and Fish Market, Lifeboat Station & Visitors Centre, Hastings Castle, Under Water World, Yesterday’s World and Battle Abbey.
Other places within easy reach by car include The Observatory Science Centre, Farm World, Drusillas Zoo, De La Warr Pavilion, 1066 Country Walk and Sedlescombe Organic Vineyard to name a few.
