The Old Bakery, Lochinver Bed and Breakfast


The Old Bakery B&B is the oldest building (200 years old) in Lochinver and is situated in the centre of the village boasting sea views and a great location. It is on the NC500 route within walking distance of restaurants and shops.

The property has been newly renovated and offers five beautifully furnished bedrooms all of which have tea/coffee making facilities, free WiFi and wall mounted TV. Four of the rooms have fabulous sea views and one of the rooms is located on the ground floor making it suitable for the less mobile visitor.

Guests have access the lounge and open plan dining room where a continental breakfast is served each morning.

Your host Heather is a fully qualified massage therapist and guests can book for a Swedish massage or foot therapy (additional costs), after a hard day walking on the hills or for that special treat.

Local Information

Lochinver is a picturesque fishing village on the west coast of Scotland. It is a great base to explore the North-West Highlands. There are shops, pubs, and restaurants just a short walk from The Old Bakery B&B.

Places to visit include Knockan Crag National Nature Reserve, Ardvreck Castle, Canisp and Suilven, Fionn Loch, Falls of Kirkaig, Achmelvich Beach, Split Rock Clachtoll, Stac Pollaidh Mountain and the Highland and Rare Breeds Farm to name just a few.
