Lynda and Lawrence Morgan welcome you to there Beautiful Guest House Cwmbach Cottages. Nestled on a hillside within mature woodland, just ½ a mile from the village of Cadoxton. Its central location is ideal for walkers and cyclists as the property is situated conveniently100m away from a network of footpaths which lead into Graig Gwladys Country Park and onto Aberdulais Water Falls. It’s a popular location for mountain bikers as it is only 15 minutes away from Afon Forest Mountain bike trails.
The cottages were once six individual cottages, but have since been converted into one. There are 5 en-suite rooms: three double bedrooms all tastefully decorated and maintaining the wonderful cottage feeling. There is also a large family room and a downstairs twin room which is suitable for wheelchair access –with access to the dining room Televisions are provided in the rooms along with tea and coffee making facilities. In addition there is also a beautiful lounge which leads to the garden, decking and fishponds with beautiful panoramic views on Neath and the surrounding area. A full English breakfast is provided every morning and is including in the price. If you are taking advantage of the mountain biking in the area there is a bike wash area with power washer, drying rooms and a secure lock up for your bike. Children of all ages are welcome and Internet access for guests is available upon request.

There is a multitude of activities and things to do in the surrounding area; the property is located just 1 mile from Neath town; 4 miles from the M4 motorway, 8 miles from Swansea and 30 minutes from Cardiff, the Breacon Beacons and Carmarthen. So it is a perfect base to tour Wales from with places like Neath Abbey, Gnoll Country Park, Margam Park and stone museum, Neath Canal, Melyn Court water falls, Pant-y-sais fen (wetland for those avid birdwatchers), Cefn Coed Miners Museum and Neath Museum and art gallery all within 15 minutes away. But for those who fancy travelling a little further a field within 30 minutes away you have the opportunity to visit Dan-yr-ogof (show caves), Glyncorrwg Ponds Swanses Bay, Mumbles, The Gower Coast, National Botanic Garden of Wales, Dylan Thomas centre, The Grand theatre and of course the famous Breacon Beacons. For those avid anglers fresh water fishing is only 1.5 miles from the cottages, where it is well stocked with trout, and a seasonal run of sea trout and salmon. Sea and course fishing is only 4 miles away. But if Golfing is your game then Cwmbach cottages are next door (200yards) to Neath Golf Club!, with 8 other clubs within 10 miles. And with those for a passion for horse riding whether you are a novice or a competent rider, there are purpose built centres in the immediate area.
