Skerries Bed and Breakfast is situated in one of the most sought after areas of the town and away from the holiday bustle. It caters largely for couples looking for a restful break in lovely surroundings.
There is a very large double bedroom which is comfortably furnished, light and airy with an adjoining en suite shower room. Patio doors lead off the bedroom onto a large private balcony with seating to take advantage of the delightful sea and coastal views.
The room has been tastefully decorated and is gas centrally heated, with freesat TV, DVD player, and tea and coffee making facilities. WIFI is also available. A separate entrance to the accommodation avoids entering through the main house and there is plenty of off road parking.
Breakfast is served in the adjoining dining room where we pride ourselves on the quality of our food and being able to source much of it locally. We provide an extensive choice of breakfast with a range of different fruit juices, quality cereals, porridge, fresh fruit, free range eggs from a nearby farm and sausages and bacon from award winning Colyton Butchers.
The “Sail Loft” with its own entrance, is a compact but very comfortable and well equipped self-contained flat affording stunning sea and coastal views from the balcony and most of the windows. It is let as either self catering accommodation on a weekly or short stay basis or as B and B.
The Sail Loft has a single bedroom with a double bed, a lounge with adjoining small kitchen and a shower room.
The lounge is comfortably furnished with a sofa bed, TV and video, table and chairs etc. Leading off the lounge is the balcony from which there are spectacular views of the sea and the coastline extending from Goldencap to Portland Bill to the East and Ware Cliffs to the West.
The kitchen contains a fridge, sink, two hob cooker and combi-oven and is well equipped.

There are many lovely walks. The area around Lyme Regis is also famous for its fossils and was the home of Mary Anning the famous paleontologist. In 2001 the coast around Lyme Regis was given World Heritage Site status. There are several shops and centres in Lyme specialising in fossils and at Charmouth there is a dedicated visitor centre to help you explore the coast. Organised fossil hunting walks are regularly arranged throughout the season, please visit website for details.
