The Parks is a fine-looking 4 star Grade II listed Georgian property located in a quiet area of Minehead on the lower slopes of North Hill conveniently located for the start of the South West Coast path, which runs from Minehead round to Poole in Dorset and welcomes those setting out to walk all or part of the path.
The town of Minehead is just a few minutes’ walk away, offering many shops, restaurants and amenities and beyond that is the seafront.
There are a range of bedrooms and suites to accommodate everything from a romantic weekend for 2 to a fun-filled family break or even a business trip. Double, twin and family rooms are available. All rooms have an en-suite shower room. Single occupancy is available in the double and twin rooms. All rooms are named after local villages around Exmoor.
Guests can enjoy an Exmoor breakfast with an extensive menu and many ingredients sourced locally. The Parks holds a Visit England Breakfast Award as well as Visit England Silver Award.
The guest house has a private off-road car park which can accommodate up to six vehicles and there is unrestricted parking on the road at the front of the property.

Places to visit include the West Somerset (Steam & Vintage Diesel) Railway, the medieval village and castle of Dunster, the historic villages of Selworthy, Allerford, Bossington,Porlock ( at the foot of the infamous Porlock Hill ) and Porlock Weir as well as many other quaint country and coastal hamlets and villages. Indeed, the whole of the Exmoor National Park, Quantock Hills and surrounding areas, including Lynton and Lynmouth, are easily reached from Minehead, making it an ideal base to explore and enjoy this wonderful area.
