The Playden Oasts is a three star English Tourist Board Inn full of charm and character in the small village of Playden just one mile from the historic Cinque Port of Rye.

The eight guest bedrooms are tastefully furnished with en-suite facilities. There are two beautiful, large round bedrooms in the heart of the oasts building. Each room is furnished in a traditional country style with its own colour television as well as tea and coffee making facilities. There’s also a ground floor room in the annexe which may suit the less mobile visitor.

The Playden has 2 delightful restaurants offering a wide range of locally sourced dishes, along with traditional Sunday roasts, catering for all your culinary desires. Lunches are available 12 – 3pm and evenings 6 – 9pm.

After a day touring the beautiful Sussex countryside you can enjoy your favourite tipple in the roundel oast bar. Or during fine weather why not relax in the spacious beer garden.
