The Shepherd’s Hut is located on Standean Farm one mile north of the A27/A23 intersection at Patcham and 5 miles north of Brighton City Centre. It is 1.4 miles South of Keymer Post or The Wildlife Dew Pond. Access from the public road is along a one mile private farm drive so you are completely surrounded by the beautiful downlands and well away from traffic.

This unique accommodation offers peace and tranquility, good food all locally sourced and an authentic rural experience.

The Shepherds Hut is ideal if you are walking, cycling or riding the Southdowns Way. After a night’s stay we are always happy to drive you back up to the Way to continue your journey.

We will cook supper for you on the terrace or provide a barbecue hamper at at additional cost. The next morning we will drive you back up to the way to continue your journey.
