The Towerhouse is an impressive red sandstone, three-story guesthouse, situated on the popular west side, within easy walking distance from the historic town centre of Bridgwater, yet only 5 minutes to the M5 motorway access.

The property retains many of its original features, dating in parts back to 1870. Nikki and Steve, resident proprietors, offer a range of flexible accommodation to cater for your individual needs either business or leisure.

There are four rooms (all non-smoking), which are accessed through a private entrance via external steps allowing complete freedom to come and go as you please. All rooms are tastefully decorated with character features. The top floor rooms can be booked together to make up a family suite (double + twin). All rooms include a flat screen TV, feather duvets (synthetic available), tea/coffee making facilities (fresh milk and biscuits), microwave, fridge, toaster, cutlery and crockery.

A complimentary ‘Breakfast Basket’ is included making it perfect for you to self-cater in the comfort of your own room. It contains a choice of breads, selection of cereals, jams, spreads etc. (All special diets can be catered for).

There are a number of supermarkets and shops close by. Order a take away from the large selection available in Bridgwater, most of which deliver. Or, within a few minutes, you can walk to restaurants and pubs.

The Towerhouse has Wi-Fi and parking. It’s also Classic Car and Bike Friendly and has a secure garage (parking available by prior arrangement).

Bridgwater is a great place to stay. During November it is the home to the world famous Guy Fawkes Carnival which is held on the weekend nearest the 5th November. It is truly spectacular.

If shopping is your thing, Clarks Village, the designer outlet is a must. Alternatively, visit the bustling county town of Taunton.
Other places to visit include Hinkley Point, Wells Cathedral, Glastonbury Abbey, Cleeve Abbey, Dunster Castle, Cheddar Caves and Wookey Hole, Hestercombe Gardens, Weston-Super- Mare, Burnham-on-Sea and Minehead to name a few.
