LOCAL INFORMATION
Steyning church was founded by a Saxon saint and is well worth a visit. Just around the corner from Steyning is the castle in Bramber which has existed since the time of William the Conqueror. A stone’s throw away, Upper Beeding has grown around a Benedictine priory but who built the fantasy French chateau?

Uppingham is the ideal location for walking, cycling and exploring the area by car and motor cycle.   Other places to visit include St Mary’s House and Gardens, Parham House, Royal Pavilion, Community Centre and Arundel Castle to name just a few!
